Auskick

The Surrey Park Auskick season kicks off on Saturday April 12.  Surrey Park Auskick has grown in participation numbers in recent years with over 170 registered “Auskickers” participating in the program in 2007.

The Auskick program is the AFL’s key introductory program for primary school aged children and their families.

The program allows children to participate in sport in a relaxed environment where making friends, having fun with their parents and improving their skills are given equal weight.

For the last three years, Surrey Park Auskick in conjunction with Mont Albert and Canterbury Auskicks will host Aboriginal children from the Northern Territory as part of an Exchange Program.  The Aboriginal children will be billeted by Auskick parents, attend a local primary school, attend an AFL club and AFL match and participate at Surrey Hills Auskick and play at half-time at the MCG.
